The Aeroplex/Aerolease Group wishes to congratulate one of its team members, Luis Trujillo for passing a professional certification exam this weekend, and becoming a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). Luis is a valuable member of the Aeroplex Group Partners LLC team, and is directly responsible for overseeing the day to day management of over 200,000 square feet of aviation office and hangar facilities at the Santa Monica Airport, with over 100 tenants. On behalf of the City of Santa Monica, Luis, together with the Aeroplex Group team, assists with the negotiation and facilitation of leasing and facility administration, as well as overseeing the Aeroplex self-service aviation gasoline facility. Luis has developed expertise in airport operations, project management, public and airport user outreach and collaboration. airport security and regulatory compliance, and facility leasing, management, and administration. Luis is a 2016 graduate from California State University Los Angeles; where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Administration and played competitive soccer for the college. Luis immigrated to the United States from Colombia in 2009.
