Van Nuys Airport (VNY) School trains A&Ps - for free (1/19/2011)
A scholarship named after Aerolease Associates founder and also one of the original founders of the VNAA (Van Nuys Airport Association), Milton A. Widelitz, was given to two deserving students of the Van Nuys Aircraft Mechanic School. The scholarship was made possible by the Aeroplex / Aerolease Group and the VNAA. Tenants, Airport Officials Have Breakthrough Meeting (11/08/2010)
In the last week of October a meeting took place between the master leaseholders at Van Nuys Airport and representatives from Los Angeles World Airports, the city agency that owns and operates the airport. The topic discussed was the rental rate adjustment that takes place every five years but what made this meeting different was that LAWA faced a collective group of tenants, a break from the traditional strategy of handling rental fees with tenants individually.

Young Burn Survivors' Dreams Take Flight (08/13/2010)
The Aeroplex / Aerolease Group coordinated an event to make a "Childs wish come true" with the Children's burn foundation. Involved in a devastating car fire in April 2004, 9-year-old Walter Gomez, Jr. and his 7-year-old sister Ebony will fulfill their dreams of flying by taking the controls of a Bonanza in the skies above Los Angeles Wednesday, Sept. 15.
