Aeroplex Celebrates Los Angeles Green Business Program Re-Certification
(Van Nuys, Calif. – August 18, 2023)
We’re proud to share that Aerolease Associates has earned a re-certification as a Green Business from the City of Los Angeles. By applying a meticulous approach to energy management, including adjusting monitors and devices and optimizing thermostat settings, we saw a significant reduction in energy consumption as well as a decrease in heating and cooling expenses. Additionally, fine-tuning our waste assessment strategies helped to successfully decrease landfill waste. Our commitment to water-efficient upgrades has resulted in a substantial annual reduction by thousands of gallons. While there is much more to do, these efforts underscore our unwavering commitment to sustainability while also providing notable cost savings.
About Los Angeles Sanitation and Environment (LASAN) Green Business Program
The program provides free environmental consulting to businesses to help them implement environmental standards currently established by the CA Green Business Network. These standards help businesses to reduce their environmental impact by reducing water and energy consumption, purchasing environmentally friendly cleaning products, properly handling hazardous materials, and reducing the waste they produce.
