Aeroplex Alum Cindy Goodfellow Recognized by VNY as Female Leader in Aviation for 40 Years of Industry Service

(Van Nuys, Calif. – July 24, 2023)

In honor of Amelia Earhart Day on July 24th, the Van Nuys Airport made a special media tribute to celebrate and highlight the significant contributions of women who have achieved remarkable success in the aviation and STEM fields. As members of the airport community, Aeroplex was invited to participate and commemorate any of our own trailblazing female staff members, and we could think of no one better than Cindy Goodfellow, a 40-year aviation industry veteran. Now a retired Aeroplex team member and partner, Cindy deserves to be recognized for her many achievements throughout her career and her service to the Van Nuys Airport community. In addition to playing a vital role in the development of Aeroplex as it is today, Cindy was active in the Van Nuys Airport Association (VNAA) and was a member of the California Airports Council (CAC).

Cindy retired in 2021 as Vice President of Client and Community Relations for Aeroplex. Throughout her impressive career, Cindy leased over 500,000 square feet (30 floors of space) for over 1,000 tenants from the areas of Encino, Century City, Westwood, Beverly Hills and the Miracle Mile to San Diego.

She excelled at marketing our facilities and services, overseeing special events and film shoots, becoming involved in airport and other community groups/trade associations, as well as exposing the team to new opportunities and relationships. Cindy was also instrumental in implementing and managing many of our administrative processes that still keep our engines running today. Cindy is a wonderfully loyal, dedicated, and committed staff member to her team and company, and we will always be grateful for her contributions here.
