Aeroplex Group Partners Undertaking Airport Management & Efficiency Training Program in China

Shenzhen, China (August 23, 2019): Aeroplex Group Partners (AGP) recently participated in the Airport Management and Operations Efficiency Training Program (AMOETP) in Shenzhen, China. Contracted by American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), AGP participated in the first week of a two week long training program for Chinese Airport Executives. The agencies that were involved in this effort included:  The United States Trade and Development Agency, (USTDA), the U.S. China Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP), the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

This training program supports Chinese Aviation officials in developing and operating efficient airport infrastructure.

About the Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP) and the Airport Management Operations Efficiency Training Program (AMOETP)

The U.S.-China Aviation Cooperation Program was created by the United States and Chinese governments and U.S. industry partners in 2003 to promote collaboration. Working with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the ACP designs programs that promote technical, policy and commercial cooperation.

AMOETP is the first ACP program specifically tailored for Chinese airport senior management. This first AMOETP session in Shenzhen, was held with the support of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Airport Department, Civil Aviation Management Institute of China (CAMIC), Shenzhen Airport, USTDA, FAA, U.S. Consulate Guangzhou, and 12 ACP members. Instructors from the FAA, ACP and AAAE delivered the two-week program. The 26 students were from China’s 37 airports with an annual passenger volume over 10 million.

The ACP helps Chinese aviation experts to develop and operate a safe and efficient aviation infrastructure. USTDA partners with the ACP in several key areas, including training executive leaders, reducing flight delays, promoting general aviation, and improving the environmental footprint of the aviation sector.
