Long Beach, CA, March 4, 2020 | California Aerospace and Aviation Days at the Capitol has provided forum for industry representatives to inform State legislators, staff, and the public and Aviation Days at the Capitol has provided a forum for industry representatives to inform State legislators, staff, and the public, by raising awareness of the benefits, the industry has on California’s economy. Since 2013, the Association of California Airports (ACA) has assisted in facilitating the event to promote how aerospace and aviation provide vital services to individuals, families, churches, hospitals, and the business community. This year, Aeroplex Group Partners (AGP) proudly participated in and contributed as a sponsor for the event.

Luis Trujillo, C.M., an Aeroplex Manager, joined this year’s event, visiting the State legislators directly the day before and advocating at the event on the Capitol steps. A variety of industry participants, ranging from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Aerospace States Asociation (ASA)-California Chapter, California Pilots Association (CPA), Aircraft Owner and Pilot’s Association (AOPA), National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), California Airports Council (CAC), the California Department of Transportation (DOT), and many others were all in attendance at the Capitol.

Trujillo worked collaboratively with ACA team members, walking the halls of the State Capitol offices with other industry representatives to provide educational material about Aviation in California and promote the California Aerospace and Aviation Days event the next day. Through this, Trujillo had the opportunity to connect with State legislators and promote Aeroplex’s support for workforce development and express the important economic benefit aerospace and aviation have to California and its communities.
