Curt Castagna, President and CEO of Aeroplex Group Partners, Takes the Lead In An Airport Development Outlook Report Workshop Session

Reno, Nevada (February 19-21, 2020) | Last week, Airport Consultants Council (ACC) and American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) hosted an Airport Planning, Design and Construction Symposium in Reno, Nevada. The symposium has five workshop sessions with over twenty speakers giving the latest information’s and developments affecting the industry.  Workshops include a balanced mix of presentations and interactive discussions between subject matter experts and participants on a board range of topics. Aeroplex Group Partners (AGP) is currently consulting a number of stirring development projects with clients and collaborators in various parts of the country.

“General Aviation facilities and hangar development nationally is presented with opportunities and challenges. Projects completed in the late 80s and 90s are now leases reverting those assets back to airports. In some cases those facilities are functionally obsolete and cannot support today’s larger general or business aviation aircraft. Financial sustainable development becomes impacted by increased project costs and longer entitlement processes. Likewise, the light general aviation sector continue to see users requiring competitively prices facilities in a market of increasing development cost,” said Curt Castagna, C.M., President and CEO of AGP.

Last Thursday, Curt Castagna, C.M., President and CEO of Aeroplex Group Partners, moderated a panel on the outlook report for Airport Development Projects, yielding an assessment of current and future growth requirements.

Mr. Castagna’s esteemed panel of industry experts include speakers Dan Bianco, President, JRMA, Kelly L. Campbell, A.A.E, Executive Director, Aviation, Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, Timothy R. Obitts, President and Chief Executive Officer, National Air Transportation Association, Christopher A. Rozansky, C.M., Executive Director, Naples Airport Authority and Tom Vliek, Vice President, Properties and Facilities, Signature Flight Support.
